What Jerry Jarrett and Jerry Lawler built in the WMC-TV studios every Saturday morning and Mid-South Coliseum each Monday night served as a crystal ball to where wrestling was headed – violence & bloodshed in their most personal rivalries, personality profiles and music videos to establish talent, and dozens of future global megastars passing through their doors.
