Eventful Summer-Fall 2015: Joe Dombrowski Debuts with TNA, GFW, Release of “Legend of Virgil”, More!

It’s been a busy few months in the Joe-Dombrowski.com offices!

This past summer, I had the pleasure of starting a variety of new endeavors I’m really excited about.

In June, I started working for Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling, in a sales capacity, in relation specifically to the GFW Grand Slam Tour live events that hit the ballparks in Erie, PA and Eastlake (Cleveland), Ohio on July 10 & 11! Following that, I had a chance to lend my written words to GFWwrestling.com, penning two featured articles – “What Does GFW Mean To Professional Wrestling” as well as an in-depth match preview of their first television tapings in Las Vegas. In addition, check out the talent roster section on the site as well, and you’ll no doubt catch my writing throughout the stars’ biographies!

In August, I released arguably the most anticipated DVD/Digital I’ve ever put on the market – “The Legend of Virgil & His Traveling Merchandise Table”. The first few weeks of the release saw faster sales than anything I’ve ever released, with the slight exception of the infamous “Montreal Theory”, and it’s been talked about by many in and out of professional wrestling. It’s even been endorsed by the infamous Jim Cornette! I was very proud of the release, as it took a satirical yet realistic look at a subject that many know about, but few have truly studied. Not just is it a portrait of Virgil, for better or worse, but could serve as a warning to those who encounter him in the future! I enjoyed channeling my inner Stephen Colbert for an exclusive two-plus hour interview. On September 19, 2015, I accomplished another longstanding goal, debuting with TNA Impact Wrestling, as I was asked to ring announce their live event in Belle Vernon, PA. To any haters out there, the locker room mood and morale was friendly, upbeat, and welcoming, the crowd was loud, respectable, and left the building happy, and everyone from the wrestlers to the office were a pleasure to work with! I appreciate Bob Ryder, Jeremy Borash, Bob Rosen, the agents, the entire locker room and staff for putting on a great event and welcoming me so nicely.

All this isn’t even factoring in my lengthy trip to Charlotte, NC for the Mid-Atlantic NWA Legends Fanfest, my time in Cleveland returning to producing a special live event at the West Park Party Center, plus my return to Cleveland a week later for Wrestling Geekfest, my debut for American Revolution Wrestling in Johnstown, PA, having Paul London along for the ride for the two aforementioned events, reuniting with Mark Madden behind the mic at IWC Caged Fury, about 30 hours of voice-over work, consistent sales of my other DVD, Digital and vintage collectible releases, and my other regular stops in IWC, PWX, and APWA along the way!

It’s been an absolutely hectic few months, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities, the desire to have me on board with so many great teams and organizations, and I can honestly say I’ve never been more excited about the prospects of what could be next! Stay tuned…
